Why Your POV Is the Only Moat That Matters Now
In the age of AI, imitation is cheap. But original thinking is priceless.
Let’s be honest:
AI is magic.
I use it every. Damn. Day.
It helps me turn half-baked voice notes into clean story drafts.
It sharpens my newsletter intros.
It gives me five options for a killer post when I only have half an idea.
I’ve even used it to generate images that feel like they came out of my dreams—
full-on "what if Robert Rodriguez directed my brand strategy" energy.
So let’s not pretend it’s not powerful.
But here’s the flip side:
When everyone has this magic wand... what actually makes you different?
We’ve officially entered the era of infinite content.
Newsletters. Threads. Podcasts. Carousels. You name it—
AI can produce it faster than most people can think it.
But that’s exactly the problem:
AI can write. It just can’t want.
It doesn’t care. It doesn’t believe. It doesn’t bleed.
It can’t feel the tension you’ve been holding in your chest for five years.
It can’t taste the urgency behind your vision.
It has language. You have conviction.
And that’s the difference.
In this new world, where everyone sounds like a pro,
the ones who rise are the ones with a Point of View.
Not just opinions.
Not “hot takes.”
But a hard-earned lens—
shaped by experience, tested by life, and owned without apology.
That’s your moat now.
So yeah—use AI.
Use it to polish, to remix, to scale.
Use it to make your content more beautiful, accessible, and fun.
(and yeah, use it every. damn. day)
But remember:
The only thing it can’t replicate is you.
Your weird brain.
Your lived contradictions.
Your sacred obsessions and stubborn beliefs.
So the next time you're drafting a post,
or launching a newsletter,
or staring at a blank canvas for your brand—
Don’t just ask: “How can I sound smart?” Ask:
What do I see that no one else sees yet?
Because when your POV is rooted in truth,
You don’t just create content—
You build a category.
And that’s what movements are made of.
Gratefully,
Edwin
P.S. My book is launching on Amazon next week, and I’m beyond excited to finally get it out into the world. I wrote it for those who aren’t just building businesses, but movements. For those who feel called to create real impact. More soon. Stay tuned.
P.S.S. If you were wondering—yes, I used AI to help write this newsletter.
And no, it didn’t come up with the POV. That's all me!
